I totally agree with you. I had seen it on my 20-inch iMac in DivX, and it's a film that flows so well that 2 hours and 40 minutes go by without you even realizing it. But watched in 3D, I assure you it's an absolute spectacle, and that’s it. I'm not saying it's a film that you absolutely have to see for the plot...

and why would I hate cinema? enlighten me, please... (I hate those who judge without knowing people) I love cinema (by the way).
and anyway, in 3D I repeat it's a visual spectacle...

Beautiful review, I’ve always forgiven him everything too. I don’t think I’ll buy the penultimate album, but I’ll listen to this one and let you know... kisses.

@ aqualife Kubrick's films are all slow but beautiful at the same time........this film, however, marks a boundary in cinematography......

the plot isn’t much to talk about, but the movie flows, and I repeat, I think it's worth watching in three dimensions. 2001 is perhaps still the best science fiction film along with Alien (the first) and Blade Runner, because Kubrick was a genius......

I watched it on my Mac without spending a dime in its original language, and I liked it........;-)
I think it's worth seeing it in the cinema as well.
