Great concert. Perfect comparison with the Rolling Stones, for better or for worse.
Van Halen Van Halen

"We have now entered the great 80s..." I stopped here: but what the hell are we talking about? Van Halen came out in 1978! Sure, this album brilliantly anticipates the '80s, but damn...

"We've now entered the grand 80s," I stopped here: but what the hell are we talking about? VH was released in 1978... I don't know...
Deep Purple Made In Japan

without a doubt a fake. in my opinion, it was an experiment: to write a beauty review inversely proportional to the album.
Quintorigo Rospo

It's a shame that they got a bit lost along the way... I still agree about De Leo's amazing voice. Perhaps they're just a bit too naive of a band to really break through.
Europe The Final Countdown

A rather ugly reception, a very beautiful record spoiled by the usual stupidity of those who listen to records without actually hearing them, that is, by aligning their judgments with those of others.
Niccolò Fabi Sereno Ad Ovest

"Niccolò Fabi is one of the few Italian singer-songwriters who manages to achieve good public success while making excellent music." At this point, I stopped: good public success?!?!!? Come on, he probably sells 30 records at most, what are we talking about?!?!?!?! If he weren't his father's son, no one would give a damn, come on...
Metallica Metallica

fundamental record: it devastated the metal scene when it was released, officially closing the '80s and proposing new musical standards. It's not my favorite among Metallica's albums, but it has to be considered for what it is: a fundamental album. Among other things, it's also the last album worthy of that name for Metallica, who probably after the enormous success of the black album must have completely lost their minds... a bit of a dog’s breakfast of a reception...
Neffa Aspettando Il Sole
Voto:
a disk that salvages itself just for one song, the title track, which by the way is the song that keeps Neffa afloat because for the rest it’s better not to talk about it...
Poison Open Up And Say... Ahh!

a bit too long, but well done. as for the masterpieces of the '80s, here are the first ones that come to mind: purple rain, iron maiden, zeniatta mondatta, master of puppets, thriller, 1984, 1987, appetite for destruction, back in black, thriller, the number of the beast, perfect strangers, cosa succede in città, synchronicity, surfing with the alien, tinsel town rebellion, the man from utopia, a kind of magic, blizzard of ozz... but one could go on forever. compared to that, the '90s were a disaster.
