Korn Greatest Hits Vol.1

I also quote GUSTAV. @JUST_EMI94: if the 94 stands for your birth year, I just can't understand how you can imply that Korn are an emerging band (their first album is from 94). And anyway, new metal had its rare gems (Deftones, Taproot, Mudvayne...) but I might be biased, because I really enjoyed the Crossover period (from the late 80s) until the end of nu-metal.

Here, people keep repeating answers to show that they understand music, to act superior and to critique everything that becomes a success. Do you really choose between the Beatles and the Stones? Have you ever heard anything from the Strokes or Arctic Monkeys? ...No, it's all crap, right? You despise it even though you might enjoy listening to them at parties. You play hard to get in order to elevate yourselves and set yourselves apart. I act different because I listen to this, I act different because I don’t listen to that. Then you don’t realize that you’re all conforming by choosing (for example) R.E.M. because they’re more alternative than U2 or, perhaps, by preemptively choosing Zappa without knowing who that other guy Zorn is. This site is starting to buzz with hypocrites. Then I don’t understand the need to respond. If you really want to be superior without appearing childish, don’t respond...

@trix: I wanted to say that in the end, he acts like a fake non-commercial.

@Oleeinar: So the first symptoms are nothing to write home about: just a few quotes during the jokes. Then come the tantrums, the epic metal music (which I don't mind sometimes), the long hair, not showering, medieval parties, long swords, kilts, the internet, cults, the thought of being an illegitimate child of Thor or an adventure companion of Frodo... Am I speaking in clichés? Of course, I was just joking. I've read my share of classic fantasy too, but I don't think there's anything cool about acting superior like HARDROCK92 did. Otherwise, everyone is free to read whatever they want. I was just joking to mock the "great" leap that hard92 took. Look, I even have a nickname taken from a wizard in a fantasy manga...

Damn, but our HARDROCK92 is awesome... He was reading Harry Potter, Il signor tarzanelli, and the fantasy genre while others were still reading "Piccoli Brividi." Damn, then you're cool. Fantasy is a rather cheesy genre, devoid of content that can be found in a real context and quite childish. Not to insult you, but anyone who loves the constant reading of this genre actually wants to escape from a world they feel doesn’t belong to them. I repeat, the CONSTANT reading.

She's my CHERRY PIE...lalalalalala....CHERRY PIE. Who remembers this part in John The Fisherman by Primus (I don't know if they just mentioned them to mock them or for some other reason)? I've never listened to the album, but the title track is also covered in Guitar Hero II.

"Caparezza is, I believe, the only Italian artist to have originality, creativity, and always maintains a clear detachment from commerciality." - Yes! In fact, that's why they play him on the radio!

The directive would work if we were talking about known groups and/or in a different context, but here it doesn't fit at all.
