Good evening everyone, this is my first review and I'm writing because at the moment I have nothing else to do......
After this fantastic introduction, let's start the review.
Years ago, my dear 18-year-old cousin introduced me to the perilous paths of heavy metal with bands like Sonata Arctica and Iron Maiden, which were among her favorite bands at the time. As we grew, our tastes diversified, and one evening she advised me to listen to KoRn, an emerging Nu-metal band. At the time, I had heard that Nu-Metal was pretty cool, and despite the few songs I had heard not thrilling me much, I thought that there must be something good about it if so many people seemed to like it, and I bought KoRn's Greatest Hits.
Damn, how wrong I was.
The CD opens with two covers, Another Brick in The Wall (parts 1,2,3) and Word Up by Cameo, both mediocre but pleasant to listen to. The first is darker than the original, the second is about the same, just a bit faster.
Track number 3 is Y'all Want a Single, nice, in my opinion, it stands out among the others along with Somebody Someone, Blind, and Freak on a Leash—songs that, even for those who can't stand the voice of frontman Jonathan Davis like me, are nice, listenable, and distinguishable from the others.
The rest of the CD is a mix of strange sounds and all the same noise, led by Davis's voice, which sounds as if he's dying. In short, we can summarize everything with the name of just one track, Trash, rubbish.
10 euros badly spent....
