Caparezza, I believe, is the only Italian artist with originality and creativity, always maintaining a clear distance from commercialism. Of course, I exclude all the times his songs have been used as summer hits or as show themes, but that's not what I'm here to talk about; that was just to clarify.
"Le dimensioni del mio caos," in terms of sound, in my opinion, is not the best, but these are personal tastes and matter little. As for the lyrics, as in all his albums, he remains a brilliant artist. The metaphors are always accurate and biting, and the figures chosen to interpret his characters are studied in detail, like naming a girl from '68 now corrupted by our society "Ilaria conditioned"; or the song "Cacca nello spazio," which may seem silly from the title, but if you pay attention to the lyrics, the song is more than engaged and ironic at the same time, and very relevant to a problem we have had for years: garbage, which Caparezza sends into space in this song, so we'll all have more room, and we'll surprise the aliens who instead just make crop circles! Or again, the song "Io diventerò qualcuno" is a strong critique of our ephemeral society, which now lays its foundations on image, ignorance, and the "cleverness" not to study and climb the career ladder by becoming famous on TV. And so one could go on for all the tracks on his album.
For those who have listened to all of Caparezza's albums, they will have noticed how his anger against this Italy has grown over the years. Each album presents a character and an increasingly cynical view of the world, like a crescendo of anger against all those who contribute to making this world unlivable.
I recommend listening to him. I know it’s hard to listen to Caparezza; as much as I like him, I'm not always in the right mood to hear raw and unvarnished truths rapped ironically on a record... his courage to clearly say how things truly are in Italy is to be appreciated. In fact, for this very reason, he is excluded from any TV show, because not being banal and vulgar, obviously he cannot be appreciated by the people.
The entire album is played with no samples, even though electronics are present.
It results in a terrible portrait of a falsely 'committed' person.

"Vieni a ballare in Puglia" is a song that overwhelms you completely.
He is one of the few Italian artists who keeps Italian music active.
The album is also a sound novel, and it's much more instrument-driven than the others, with fewer vulgar jokes and more focus on social issues.
"I find him to be a unique artist, with a style all his own that combines the ability to write unique and prophetic lyrics to speak uncomfortable truths."
"The album deals with very current and very sad themes such as unemployment, the daily brainwashing by TV, 'revisited' history, waste disposal, and the desire to appear on TV at any cost starting from childhood."
"Le dimensioni del mio caos is a really great work...it’s a concept album, and a concept in 2008 wasn’t a trivial thing."
"Some passages are worthy of framing... ‘Pimpami la storia’ gives chills for how, alas, true it is; ‘La grande opera’ is a monumental track."
