For me, it’s probably their only misstep (even though I miss Cars 2).

I, on the other hand, still refuse to watch Cars 2 (the first one didn't really impress me that much, but it had many noteworthy elements like the racing scenes of the cars and the obsessive attention to detail).

I don't know whether it was the idea of the haunted hotel room that made me laugh or Samuel L. Jackson performing in the most over-the-top way possible, but aside from that, the film is, all in all, quite decent.
