Every now and then, the filthy and rotten punk does no harm; in fact, it is needed! A unique record, the complete opposition to the virtuosity of progressive rock.

"Every now and then, dirty and rotten punk doesn't hurt" Not at all. But now instead of those idiots, listen to the serious people :-) and for the joy of @[Pinhead] and then The Clash - White Riot and by the way, thanks Lydon for showing you are REALLY great So it's clear that I don't love the pistols, huh?

Look at that, who would have suspected this punk side of you?

But I like Punk. I don't like the Pistols but I do like Punk :D In the end, it's rock 'n' roll, you know. It took me a while to get it, but I finally did.

But why have the rotten and the dirty when you can have the virtuosity of Progressive? MMMmmmmhhh progressive! *Drools like Homer Simpson* Seriously, Punk gives me a headache, but it's also true that I've never really delved into it except maybe for Vital by Van Der Graaf Generators (can that be considered punk?)

The TRUE and complete counterpoint to the virtuosity of progressive rock:
Slint: Spiderland

Washer is so beautiful that it’s indescribable. This album is incredible, with perfect arrangements and perfect songs. This record has won.
Soft Machine: Third

Few, indeed, very few progressive albums have been able to match it... unique, a perfect fusion of progressive and jazz, creating 4 perfect suites!!! "Moon In June" deserves a monument dedicated to it...

There are no words to describe this work. I can't do it.

Masterpiece. For me, however, it's a progressive album tainted with jazz rather than a true fusion; the attitude is still that of a prog band. Moon in June is among the everlasting masterpieces of rock.
Sonic Youth: Daydream Nation
File Audio I have it ★★★★★
I still need to listen to the rest of Sonic Youth, but this remains an absurd, adrenaline-fueled, painful, and moving album, not at all commercial (something I seemingly thought)... a beautiful record that I could have discovered earlier...

It's the deluxe edition with "Within You Without You" by the Beatles in a version with a martial drumbeat and distortions? Beautiful.

Why did you think they were commercial? O_O

The name seemed too youthful to me, I don't know.
Stefano Sollima: Gomorra - La Serie
File Video I have it ★★★★★
A first season with high levels of suspense, a second season that is very psychological, full of twists. In summary, a TV series (Italian!) of the highest quality, among the best available.
Stephan Micus: Implosions
File Audio I have it ★★★★★
A record so light and innocent, that if you let yourself be carried away by it, it changes your life forever...
Suicide: Suicide

Rule 1: never listen to Frankie Teardrop at maximum volume, otherwise you risk a heart attack.
Rule 2: enjoy this one-of-a-kind show.

We're all Frankies... One of the most revolutionary and innovative albums of that wonderfully revolutionary and innovative scene.

It's a shame I couldn't sleep because of Frankie Teardrop. Beautiful, but traumatizing.
