It changed today's television, no doubt about it. Much like Twin Peaks did in the '90s, BB came out at a time when the clones of Buffy were flooding the screen.
BB brought thrills, suspense, action, humor, and drama... to the small screen.

    I absolutely agree. It's the best of all time, at least for me, just like for other fans. However, on one thing I don't agree: Breaking Bad didn't invent anything, Breaking Bad reinvented everything.

    I love The Wire and its pessimistic view of reality. I need to finish The Sopranos (I'm still stuck in the first season), but I don't have much time these days. When I watched the first episode of Breaking Bad, one thing became immediately clear to me: this was the best TV show of all time. Only The Wire comes close to the perfection of Breaking Bad.
