I'm frightened by how clean and sublime all of this is. I used to play it in a duo with a friend and, I swear to you, I think we’re the only two idiots playing this stuff, sometimes even in front of an audience and in unimaginable situations. I can't give my best to an album that, all things considered, isn’t true badass folk, isn’t guitar repertoire and doesn’t get close to the exploitation of timbre; it has a bit of a sparse and impoverished musical writing, yet there’s a certain something of doom, there's the groove.
