Le Orme: Collage
CD Audio I have it ★★★
Well, it just doesn't drive me crazy, it sounds "old." I think there's much better in Italian prog, although this isn't completely to throw away, you know.

I actually like it a lot; I'm very attached especially to "Sguardo verso il Cielo," which I used to play with my band. This is the first Italian prog album... anyway, it's all a matter of taste, of course!

I, on the other hand, don't find it old or "dated" at all, but I think it's a matter of feelings. Who knows, let's just get by with a de gustibus.

For me, along with "Felona e Sorona" and "Uomo di pezza," it is among the must-haves of Le Orme.

It's one of the most beautiful pieces indeed... compliments to your group! I understand why you might like it, but it's not really my thing.

    Not even Felona and Sorona.
Led Zeppelin: IV
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
Overrated, perhaps, but definitely beautiful. Stairway To Heaven.

Did you know that I think like you? It's the ladder to paradise that always puts IV first—it's not that it's not nice, but I also prefer the first Zeppelin.
Led Zeppelin: Led Zeppelin

Their best, very beautiful Babe I'm gonna leave you and Dazed and Confused.

Bah.
Lou Reed: Berlin

There's a bit of everything in Lou Reed. My favorite album of his.

mine, yours, his, and I would say also ours
Lucio Battisti: Il Mio Canto Libero
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Legendary, stunning, and unforgettable is the song that gives the album its title. La luce dell'est, Vento nel vento, Io vorrei... non vorrei... ma se vuoi only reinforce the value of a beautiful record.

"The fog I breathe is now clearing because before me an almost white sun rises in the East..." One of the most beautiful openings of the entire vast production of Battisti-Mogol... Unforgettable pages...
Lucio Battisti: Don Giovanni
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Ah what a masterpiece. Electronic and Folk intertwine in Panella's first album to create what is perhaps, alongside Anima Latina, Battisti's absolute masterpiece. Here, the great songs abound: Madre Pennuta, Il Diluvio, Don Giovanni, Equivoci Amici, Il doppio gioco.

For me, it’s the worst of the white albums even though it contains what is perhaps the most beautiful song of the white albums, DON GIOVANNI.

In my opinion, after Mogol there's nothing worth listening to. I'm serious about that. Those who call him a genius from that era don't even understand him. Absurd lyrics.

It is certainly a deep album, but personally, I find it incredibly boring, convoluted, and cerebral. Leaving aside the lyrics, which would require a treatise on hermeneutics to make sense of.

I appreciate what you say, but to me it's just crazy, even from a musical standpoint. To me, it's the best of the white albums, without a doubt.
Lucio Battisti: La Sposa Occidentale
CD Audio I have it ★★★★
Out of a carton pops this record (who remembered having it?) very nice, even if sometimes Pasqualino goes a bit overboard.
Lucio Battisti: Emozioni
CD Audio I have it ★★★
With "Emozioni," Battisti begins a thirty-year story after which Italian music will never be the same. Then Fiori di rosa, fiori di pesco. Il tempo di morire. Mamma mia.

All I need to do is mention the song that gives the album its title... I believe there's no need to add anything else.

The title track, my God. For me, it's a 4-star.

I only now notice the three star rating: hoping for a mistake on your part!!!
Lucio Battisti: Amore E Non Amore
CD Audio I have it ★★★★★
Another fantastic album from our local singer. The instrumentals are beautiful, along with "Dio mio no" and "Una". Perhaps the best of the Mogol era, after "Anima Latina".

Masterpiece! My favorite piece is "Se la mia pelle vuoi."
