Not exactly born to be a manifesto of great cinema, it’s still a beautiful film, raw and revolting as it should be, only hindered by mediocre dubbing and certainly not deserving of the many negative criticisms it has received. In any case, the book is something else entirely.

The creature of Roddy Frantz (a surname, a program) and Robert Goldstein came out with two jaw-dropping records (because even "Early Damage," no kidding, is no joke...). 4 and a half for this.

I find myself reassessing an album I never truly valued from a band I never fully appreciated. And I almost come to prefer these raw and unrefined U.O. to the tireless seekers of the perfect power-pop formula of recent years. "Noisy songs" that are worn out, cacophonous, and disheveled. Produced by Albini.

I recommend the EP 'Stull'...beautiful. I love that EP. Let's say it's the only release by U.O. that borders on being essential, for me. The others didn't appeal to me much, except for the latest one 'Exit The Dragon', which is quite nice...but nothing compared to 'Stull'..

I still like it, Exit The Dragon is nice too, on the other hand Saturation has always left me indifferent, the sound is too polished in the studio, lacking spontaneity.

Things more than good on side A, with exquisite Pop Rundgrenian craft jewelry. Epic is the second side, amidst the pathos of "Hiroshima" and the unlikely conceptual journey of a suite that does not tire but entertains, between solemn guitar sounds and truly remarkable instrumental ideas.
