Listen, from now on let's put it this way: every time you pull out the most exciting records from my (distant) youth, even if I don't drop by to comment or put "nice," just assume that I did...

I recommend the 2 CD + 1 DVD edition. I haven’t watched the DVD, but the 2 CDs contain the morning and afternoon shows from that day, from which the regular album is drawn.

Yesterday on the radio they played the schizoide man. It continues to be a track that could have been written yesterday. Or tomorrow. It’s fifty years old. Help.

Well, I’ve always found them quite ridiculous... if I want to listen to something fun, I go for stuff like ZZ Top, but I don’t know, sometimes even AC/DC.
  • genevincent
    30 jan 15
Yes, they could indeed be considered that way. They may be clowns, but they’ve done something good as well; I changed my mind when I saw one of their concerts 6 or 7 years ago. And if you’re talking about ZZ TOP then... amazing!!!

They have brilliantly bypassed the petty Italy of self-satisfied singer-songwriters, and for this alone they deserve a lifetime achievement award... and a lifestyle.

hj, however the main point remains Nina Hagen, eh
  • hjhhjij
    26 jun 16
However, the Hagen was an eccentric madwoman; I see this one more as a witchy madwoman. Very different from those I've mentioned for one reason or another, mine was just a "free" association.
