  ...and there is no more heroic strength than that of modern art!..the supreme Ludwig Van Beethoven..a musician far beyond the first of musicians..instead, I see that little chamber talent of Chopin..for goodness' sake delicate, poetic, introspective but without heroism, power, greatness, pride ..long live Ludovico now and forever!!!!!!

  Chopin without heroism? And the Polish Eroica? Let’s not kid ourselves...

  Okay… maybe I exaggerated a bit in my emphasis… Chopin has heroism, but not the immense charge, power, and brightness of the great German composer… the first movement of the Eroica and especially the superb first movement of the fierce and sparkling Emperor Concerto demonstrate this abundantly… maybe I'm biased… even the first movement of the Violin Concerto has a very heroic flair… long live heroic Beethoven… I adore him.
