Considerando che moltissimi li devo ancora ascoltare e quindi non ho potuto includerli, per ora questa lista è una top 20 di circa un centinaio di artisti, consideratela un work in progress. Non ho incluso alcuni nomi più legati al mondo del jazz o della elettronica anni 70.

    Everything is fine, but I don't really get the overrating of Yes. If anything, I see EL&P being more overrated. In fact, Yes have always been looked down upon by those who: 1) can't stand Anderson's voice 2) consider them bombastic 3) think their music is self-indulgent 4) find their lyrics useless and senseless 5) trash certain albums (like Tales from Topographic Ocean), labeling them as pretentious uselessness... then there are just 4 cats who adore them (me among them), but we really are just 4 cats. So who is overrating them?

    They are considered in almost all books or websites of the genre among the magnificent three along with Genesis and King Crimson, at the top of a myriad of rankings including Rate Your Music and Progarchives, is that enough? Personally, I like some of their albums, but I believe there are better bands. Anyway, the ranking is incomplete; I left it like that because the site was stuck...
