Well, yes, these are certainly the 10 most glorious names to come out of the blooming Germany of the '70s. There are also Guru Guru or the Cosmic Jokers, for example, but they are indeed inferior to these guys, though still cool. Great.

  • I would also like to expand it later on, perhaps by adding more names like the Cosmic Jokers.

Yes, the Cosmic Jokers are not very pretty in my opinion, lighter compared to other "cosmic" bands of the time, and I listen to them quite often as well.

  • I appreciate them a lot too, especially Galactic Supermarket.

Well, that's easily their best for me. I also have Sci-Fi Party and Planeten Sit-In, which are nice. Galactic is really cool, though.

All of the big groups, pioneers of krautrock. Klaus Schulze mainly was involved with Tangerine Dream (on their first album) and Ash Ra Tempel. I would reverse some positions:
    1) Tangerine Dream
    2) Faust
    3) Popol Vuh
    4) Ash Ra Tempel
    5) Can
    6) Amon Duul II
    7) Neu!
    8) Cluster
    9) Eloy
    10) Brainticket

Electronic Meditation by Tangerine Dream is the best krautrock album ever released. Following in no particular order are Tago Mago by Can, Faust and Faust IV, In der Garten Pharaos and Hosianna Mantra by Popol Vuh, Ash Ra Tempel and Schwingungen by Ash Ra Tempel, Cluster II, Neu!, Phallus Dei by Amon Duul II, Ocean by Eloy, Psychonaut by Brainticket, Irrlicht by Klaus Schulze, Autobahn by Kraftwerk... The list is extremely long: I’ll limit myself to these masterpieces, to these inimitable strokes of genius :)

Of course, there is also the self-titled album by Brainticket, and it's worth noting the film The Harm Machine, in which the track Brainticket Part 1 serves as the soundtrack.
