Yes. I would swap the first two, also because I still choose "beauty" at the expense of "importance."

Between the two, having to choose, I realized that THE album from the '90s is... and I still don't know, how can one choose ;-) but maybe "Loveless," yes, if I have to pick one, then yes.

I've never liked Jeff Buckley's album, even though everyone talked about it positively in the '90s... I had the same issue with Radiohead. The surprise on this list is Babes in Toyland, whom I like, even though I only know that one... they overshadow Pretty on the Inside by Hole. A small recommendation: Four Great Points by June of 44. You don't like it? For me, it's the album of my '90s.

I'm including it because it's among those I still have to add; objectively, it's an amazing album, even if on a personal level it doesn't hold any particular significance.

Allow me, the choice of Beth Orton is curious, it definitely makes sense. I've never loved her too much, though. Still better, in female songwriting, than any Liz Phair. Great that you included June of 44. But did you know? I bought it in '98 and I still like it. I like to think that album, along with Wall of Sacrifice by Death in June, drove me crazy in the span of a year... 7 mg of haloperidol plus lithium weren't enough. Prozac? An unnecessary problem.

uh, what a time it must have been... yes yes, I promised Four Great Points and I've finally added it. Beth Orton, always loved, along with Central Reservation that album is a gem for me, she's a very English artist compared to a Liz Phair who is very American and who, well, had a hit album before fading into some bland American rock that even Sheryl Crow wouldn’t be proud of... she caused quite a stir with her lyrics, but considering the career she's had... very little to show for it.

Dearest Lao Tse, you have a handful of minutes to correct position number 53 and bring it up at least forty spots. Otherwise, I’ll take back all the nice words I've said about your beautiful writing… of course, I'm joking. Very well-made ranking with two absolute gems, namely the presence of Mr. Bob Mould..(do you remember...) and Mr. Bungle.

no no, but I also wanted to write it down, actually I had written it but it didn't save... it's not a ranking, aside from the top spots, so it's not that the Primus are 53rd... I added the albums as I remember them and as I listen to them again, the list is still incomplete.

There are also some beautiful things here and there. I honestly thought it would be worse.

Tortoise yes, Pixies yes, I still have to add those, as well as the Crazy Horse, I know Mogwai a little, Massive Attack maybe - better, definitely in terms of importance, a bit less in personal preference.
