    Yeah... ^^ it seems a bit strange to me too to see rankings that mix Mozart and Beethoven with Led and similar stuff, but maybe it's just me being too narrow-minded ;)

  @ Emme: being a general ranking, there's a bit of everything. It's not about confusion. "Best artist of all time" is written at the top. Certain generic comments make me smile. Even more so if written by someone who, in turn, compiles general rankings (like yours from the sixties, which mixes artists from very different genres). So, who is creating confusion?
