    Branford yes and Wynton no? :-( Anyway, I remember the shared love for the EST. Great Nils Petter Molvaer and immense Jan Garbarek. As for the rest, I don't really like all these guitarists too much.

    Hey Felo! You're right, but I just threw it together haphazardly; there’s a lot to add and revise! Anyway, out of the two brothers, I've always preferred the saxophonist! I’ve been crushing on jazz guitarists since I discovered George Benson at 10 years old, and from there... I saw Pat Metheny on Videomusic (legendary!) in the video for "Jolanda you learn" (but also in the famous "this is not..." with David Bowie... same period)...

    Great chart, although lately Metheny has been a bit tiring for me... :-( The Jaga Jazzist are immense, and I've shamefully only just discovered them, and MMW, absolutely crazy!!!

      In fact, I think Metheny isn't always suitable; I go through periods with him, but when I do, I can listen for a solid month straight, sometimes just with the same album! Anyway, the latest Unity Band is pretty good; as for MMW, I absolutely love the two albums they made with John Scofield, they're just too beautiful.
