    I would say yes: "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn" ('67); "A Saucerful of Secrets" ('68); "Ummagumma" ('69) and they began to lay the foundations for "Atom Heart Mother," released in the autumn of 1970.

    And King Crimson? Okay, they only made one album in '69, so not including them isn't a big deal, but it's nothing short of a monumental album.

    Yes, as I said, it’s valid, the Crimson were fundamental for and in the '70s (continuing to do great things in the following 3 decades as well).
