Old Tim is bringing everyone together this year! I have the Grails one but I still need to listen to it, and it's nice to see Lento in the charts.

Mike Patton really raises the bar; otherwise, unsettling atmospheres aside, the decline phase has begun...

I Lento, however, are ready to be overthrown, because aside from the excellent sounds, the ideas are a bit lacking..

Tim pulled out a drone disc like I haven't heard in a long time...

I really like the new Lento, even though after this album they should change their monicker, which has become unsuitable. :D They have strayed quite a bit from the previous album, thickening the compositions and synthesizing them, and I believe it has worked greatly in their favor.

I'm listening to "Attention Please" and I find it really nice! The other three new albums (ugh, how can I keep up?!) I'm missing and I don't even know if I feel like listening to them... Panicuzzo, have you already given a listen to "New Album" or "Heavy Rocks II"?

Hey guys. My take on these crazies: New Album is excessively polished, swinging too much from one genre to another (always with enviable mastery, mind you) and hasn’t really captured me so far; it’s true that the Pop/Rock references are nothing new in the Japanese scene (see My Neighbor Satan on Smile) but I definitely prefer them in the noisier and darker territories as in Heavy Rocks part two that I've been spinning these days...

I thank my buddy Declino for the suggestion! If "New Album" is really "excessively sought after," it can only interest me! :D As soon as I finish truly enjoying "Attention Please," I'll dive into that... I've only scratched the surface with Boris; I remember listening to "Absolutego" (monolithic is the first word that comes to mind) and "Akuma No Uta" (mostly drawn in by the cover), but honestly, their pop/rock vibes appeal to me more at the moment—I'm not really in the mood for heavy drone/doom/stoner/whatever...

Exaggerately sought after but not in the direction you would like, Hell. Ah, I'm reading the final part of your comment now, so I take it all back. I'm very much in line with the decline lol.
