Dub Trio is an American instrumental trio from Brooklyn—Dave "DP" Holmes (guitar), Stu Brooks (bass), and Joe Tomino (drums)—blending studio-savvy dub with heavy, experimental rock dynamics. They’ve released key albums including New Heavy and Another Sound Is Dying, and later The Shape Of Dub To Come.

Formed in Brooklyn, New York. Early albums were released on Ipecac Recordings. Collaborated with Mike Patton: guest vocals on "Not Alone" (New Heavy) and "No Flag" (Another Sound Is Dying); also connected to Patton’s Peeping Tom project.
