De Gregori and Dalla endure the penance of having become completely unsustainable for too many years, both musically and in attitude. Bindi and Alice have had great artistic merits, but they don’t communicate much to me. I really like Capossela, but for me, he is a step below others.

Some choices are truly peculiar (the little-known Giurato, a reminiscence of the '70s from what I remember, where did you find him?). As far as I'm concerned, Ruggeri is definitely too high up, even considering that he won Sanremo with a decidedly sad song like "Mistero." It’s true that he has written some great songs ("Polvere," "Il mare d'inverno," for example), but I really don't believe he deserves that position. The same consideration applies to Nannini and Caputo (In front of Guccini?). I disagree about Dalla and De Gregori: I also think they have become unbearable (like Ruggeri, after all), but that doesn’t erase the excellent work they’ve done in the past. Their absence doesn’t seem justified to me other than by personal taste, of course. What about Fossati? Anyway, definitely an original ranking that favors singer-songwriter music.
