A too important, historical album... Giving less than 5 is impossible for me!! more
Trash, you can't hit a note anymore. more
Rating 0 - - It's not my style and I find Jovanotti quite annoying. more
The Swiss Archspire. Is there anything else to add?! more
I listen almost every day, compulsively, one or more times, to the album "Unknown Pleasures." Ian's voice has captured my soul, the music simultaneously destroys and enchants me. Pure, minimal suffering, no need for grandiloquent words. I can no longer live without Joy Division; they have become a part of my life. I wish I could relive the first listen of "Unknown Pleasures" ten thousand times. more
2 men who sounded like an orchestra and a composer who composed like Beethoven, but American. more
And finally, the moment has arrived to talk about a Depeche Mode album that struck me in an almost entirely negative way. A sense of déjà vu, of having heard better things before, and of boredom, pervades most of the thirteen tracks that make up the album; aside from the long and nighttime "In Chains," which opens the work, or the driving lead single "Wrong," there is very little else to salvage. The first and only slight misstep in an otherwise exemplary career...HOLE TO FEED... more
With Di'Anno, it was a whole different story. more
The ultimate expression of darkness, even more than The Cure for me.
A poetic album, as devastating as life was for Ian Curtis.
You don't need much technique to create Art. A few perfectly calibrated chords complete the circle of one of the most important albums in the history of music. more
A sonic revolution whose echo can still be felt.
An album to be experienced. more
An album that pulls you into oblivion and despair with every listen.
Absolutely essential. more
Slightly less direct than the excellent debut. The standout tracks are certainly not lacking ("Raise the flag," "Chewin' the Fat," "Born To Kill"), but in this work, the band seems less inspired. The final result is still satisfying. more
I still have quite a bit of stuff to listen to, but just like with Steven Wilson's solo albums, I'm sure they are worth 5 stars. more
AC/DC lovers cannot miss out on Airbourne. "Runnin' Wild" is inspired by the early works of Angus and co., especially "Let There Be Rock" and "Powerage"... While being clones, the O'Keeffe brothers have given their own touch to the band... An album to listen to when you need a good dose of adrenaline!!! more
He had said it was a rat's nest. more
From the ashes of Deadguy and Rorschach comes one of the best Post-hardcore bands of the last century. Existential anger in its purest form. more
The best pop interpreter in Italy. You must have hearing problems to deny this. It's a shame she was "misunderstood" in her lifetime. more
A few years before the two famous prison concerts, he managed to release two genuine gems: Ballads of True West and Bitter Tears. A period to be rediscovered. more
Immense idiot more
