Nirvana -Nevermind
Heard it again after years, but I must say that time hasn't dulled the fond memory I had. A classic, for better or worse, of the '90s. A nice album, although I prefer the previous one. more
Naughty Dog
Oh guys, Crash Bandicoot is history. The trilogy from '96 to '98 is spectacular, CTR and Crash Bash are great too even though I know them much less, while another absolute cornerstone not by Naughty Dog (and my all-time favorite video game) is The Wrath of Cortex for PS2. Epic in its atmospheres, levels, and music. more
Stefano Benni
I find it peculiar that on Debaser by Stefano Benni there are only two brief reviews written by valvonauta. I’ve read many of his works but then I gave up. My favorite is: "Comici spaventati guerrieri". more
Jonny Lang -Wander This World
At 18, his second work was released, listen to it. more
Nina Hagen Band
Remarkable!!! more
Blues Saraceno -Never Look Back
For lovers of guitar heroes more
Ashley Monroe
Beautiful voice and more than a good composer of clean country without too many frills or pop influences. more
Johnny Winter -Let Me In
great rock blues album, the second rebirth more
Whitesnake -Slip Of The Tongue
If you look at the lineup, this album was supposed to be a masterpiece, yet it falls short of 1987. more
Whitesnake -Whitesnake
History, a must-have in the metal collection more
Whitesnake -Slide It In
the turn towards hard rock, recommended album more
Pink Floyd -The Wall
The ultimate concept album, one of the records I'm most attached to. A masterpiece on a conceptual level even before being musical, not the best of Floyd but definitely the last great masterpiece before the decline. I’ll state an obvious thing, but "Comfortably Numb" is one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard... "is there anybody out there?" more
Michael Jackson
An authentic psychiatric case that fell under several DSM categories, from a musical standpoint, managed to make a lot of money thanks to the bad taste of those who bought his records and attended his concerts. But after all, what is music from the '70s onwards if not 90% business? more
Michael Jackson
If I say "black by chance" am I late? Bah, it’s still funny even if someone has already written it. Laugh, bastards. more
Andy Taylor -Dangerous
The former guitarist of Duran Duran produced this cover album, but it wasn't well received by critics. more
Pink Floyd -Wish You Were Here
Always my favorite of the Floyd. Nothing to add. more
