10 out of 10 for my favorite group :-) more
I didn't remember that Will Ferrell played drums with the RHCP. Anyway, seriously, at the end of the "By the Way" video, I really thought it was Will, no joke. more
An enjoyable mix of funk rock and pop rock, for me the last decent album by the Peppers. more
slightly lower than the previous ones, by no means mediocre. Highly underestimated. more
another beautiful 10 and praise. more
far away, very far away from the glories of the early days, T E R R I B I L E more
Devil's guitarist. Some of the best riffs in history are thanks to him and his brother. LET THERE BE ROCK!!! more
indefinable... more
well, overrated... more
Wow, a monster of the electric guitar! more
Emerging from the darkness that had subdued them in their early albums, and from the Eastern melodies of "Carnival in Babylon," the Teutons take a few tracks to summarize the good they had accomplished in their previous recordings while simultaneously shifting to a decadent and dreamy atmosphere, creating a thrilling "passing of the baton" between prog and psychedelia. They return to fully convince. more
What is it? Minimalism, ambient, folk, pop, gothic, dark wave… what is it? Desertshore is everything and nothing of what I've written... I’m confused, I can’t classify it... I feel peace, serenity, melancholy... I’ve experienced those feelings a lot but never in this way. I can't understand… except… yes… I know one thing… I like it… I really like it... more
The morning that sings the night... more
I probably prefer this to Pink Moon, even though it's a tough battle, one that is likely to change its winner depending on the moments. I really enjoy its symphonic arrangements mixed with folk-oriented acoustic parts, which provide an effective blend of emotions. What can I say, an extraordinary example of English songwriting... more
I realized I was old when after 20 minutes of "Sorci Verdi" I understood how unwatchable that kind of cartoon is. "Bella Zio in Italia l'ho portato io." "Io Fumo Tanta Verdura" and the evident embarrassment of Marco Travaglio. But damn, I should pay the TV license fee to watch such an idiot. At most, I could just look in the mirror for free. more
Magical for me is Led Zeppelin III, the rest is beautiful music but lacks emotions. Zero nonsense, a lot of technique and instrumental nervousness, vocals that become unbearable after a while, lyrics, attitude, and clothing in the standards of the stereotypical rockstar. In short, the embryo of '80s kitsch. more
A forward not always appreciated yet quite prolific. Those who say he didn’t achieve anything at Milan only remember his last period when he was overshadowed by Pato, forgetting the 19 goals in his first year and the 16 in his second. They also forget that he is one of the scorers in the "perfect match" that led Milan to Athens! more
those who come out with statements like "well, back in the days of Parsifal," "well, technically they were good" deserve the electric chair, not just a de gustibus. more
I would have gladly bought it. more
In a hypothetical ranking of preferences, this 2004 work ranks in my top 5 (alongside "Bone Machine" and "Swordfishtrombones") when it comes to Uncle Tom's discography. Ugly, raw, with skewed hip-hop inspired rhythms, and the usual sandpaper voice rambling nightmares and who knows what else is going through his mind. more
