Until Minutes to Midnight, they were decent; after that... the decline. more
A guy who's a bit too sour. more
Monkey Man. more
Immense... happy to have discovered it. more
Ciccio Moreno and his Deftones have poured themselves into this album, I would bet my balls on it without hesitation. On "Little Dipper" there's practically all of White Pony. You can almost sing over 'Knife Party'... more
The howl at the "untethered moon" of Built To Spill is powerful, inspired, distorted, exhilarating as always. more
The ghosts of the West! more
For me, they remain at the top. Tastes are tastes. I got to know them in chronological order. From the first one onwards, but I stopped here with this album. There's everything in it. more
I don't really like his latest albums, but the masterpieces from '75 to '82 are absolutely essential. Even afterwards, he had some remarkable peaks. more
With the acoustic guitar, an unmistakable style, plus a great interpreter. more
Piper out of his mind more
He’s an artist in whom I’ve never found anything interesting, except for a little something here and there... He might be liked, but those who call him a rocker or someone who writes poetic lyrics, I don’t know what they’re usually smoking. more
"Clapton è Dio" more
Delight! And then try to imagine a "My Generation" played by a perfect and well-mannered drummer... It would be a nightmare. more
Huge until "Litfiba 3," good until "Terremoto," if they had stopped there it would have been much better. more
An intense, melancholic masterpiece with pieces that radiate light to cling to. The sound of a soul that loses, seeks, and finds its way again. more
I believe in them, a rather enjoyable debut album. more
He has always been a nationalist and autarkic communist, more of a KGB type than a '68 figure, so it's normal that today he feels more at ease with the fascist-Leaguers than with the radical-chic... As for being a Catholic, he has always been one. When it comes to music, not much to say, great both with CCCP and CSI, but I haven't followed him much lately... more
A character on the brink of the absurd, he seems to understand little or nothing about music (more nothing than little); when he addresses political or social themes in his barroom populism, 99 times out of 100 he says things that are agreeable... as an artist, I know very little about him, and from what little I’ve heard, it seemed to me that more than singing, he was gasping. more
Extraordinary during the new wave phase of the 80s, with Maroccolo and De Palma, excellent in the 90s with the Latin rock of El Diablo and the harder sound of Terremoto, then they started to play little tricks on each other and the adventure nearly came to an end (though the last album isn't even that bad). more
