An ending that blows your mind! Great DiCaprio and absolutely fantastic Scorsese! more
Masterpiece, nothing more needs to be said. more
Setting aside the lesser films that every director inevitably encounters along the way, when I think of "Beetlejuice," "Batman," "Batman Returns," "Edward Scissorhands," "Ed Wood," "Sleepy Hollow," "Mars Attacks!" and "Big Fish"... sorry, but I believe a 5 is definitely in order. P.S. I didn’t find his "Planet Of The Apes" all that terrible either, far superior to some of the trash they pass off in theaters today as intelligent entertainment films. more
Psychedelia, prog, and jazz...few albums and indelible imprints in every genre. more
There must be a reason why Mr. Hammill is called Mr. Prog. Right? more
I take pleasure in the fact that I like her. Her worst album (which one??..) would be the peak for 80% of those who make rock music! more
I'm leaving the rating pending. I have "The Velvet Underground and Nico" gathering dust on a shelf, which didn't impress me much. I only remember that the last song is out of this world, and I liked it a lot. By Christmas, I'll catch up and give a serious opinion (meh, I mean, if we can call it that). more
One of the few fortunate ones who can boast the status of revered master before having stopped creating masterpieces... more

I'm not old enough to love you, I'm not old enough. more
I must say that I only know the records with Janis Joplin on vocals, but that’s enough for a 5! more
The many facets of an album that could not possibly be a flop: Punk attitude, futuristic and decadent New Wave, remarkable Power-Pop, Sixties memories, and a dazzling entry into the dancefloor. No one had managed to mix the cards so well musically. The image did the rest. more
Inspired, magical, beautiful. Together with Bubu by Anabelas and Depois do Fim by Bacamarte, the highest expression of 70s South American prog. more
In a hypothetical top 5 of Seattle, this masterpiece should always be there. more
Mia, I mean, I write whatever I want, right? It’s not a definition, it’s a beautiful memory. One that probably won’t be liked because what’s the point of liking someone else's memories? But I’m writing it for myself, so that’s fine. I sang Tuxedomoon during my first trip to India. I could never find batteries for my walkman, but I missed them so much that I sang their songs on the streets, everywhere. Can you imagine what might come out of that? A crazy-looking German girl making improbable sounds. But they filled my heart and closed the distance to the European new wave climate. Music was the only thing I missed during those months, along with toilet paper. Tuxedomoon, travel companions and memorable "trips." more
They challenged Satan to a rock-off. They deserve infinite respect. And then Jack Black is a much better actor than one might think, but I prefer him when he's being goofy. more
Hurricane Katrina isn't a weather phenomenon... it's Chuck Norris farting. more
The epochal "Power Trilogy," the "Tetralogy of Elements" has its ups and downs. These alone are enough for a 5; honestly, I care very little about the rest. more
