Angelo Maria Ripellino was born in Palermo on December 4, 1923, and died prematurely in Rome on April 21, 1978. He was an Italian translator, Slavic scholar, poet, and writer. To understand the stature of this character, it suffices to quote the striking opening of his most famous book: Praga Magica, and one of his poems.
Fatti forza, resisti. Non ci resta altro che percorrere insieme il lunghissimo, chapliniano cammino della speranza."
"Vivere è stare svegli e concedersi agli altri, dare di sé sempre il meglio e non essere scaltri. Vivere è amare la vita coi suoi funerali e i suoi balli, trovare favole e miti nelle vicende più squallide." more
Masterpiece novel of European fantasy more
Always tightly knit, mysterious, and loaded, but the grace period is a long way off. Stunningly trashy the cover. more
How much epicness is contained in the grooves of this little gem!!!! Do you think my already shaky virility will completely go to hell if I risk crying while listening to Refugees? more
They all leave as arsonists and proud, but when they arrive, they are all firefighters... How true these words are! more

my favorite group! definitions are not possible. more
An album that Jeff was unable to complete. Some tracks lack originality and immediacy, thrown in just to make up the numbers, while others are well-crafted, like Satisfied Mind or Everybody Here Wants You... Nevertheless, it remains a pleasant album to listen to despite many "incomplete" tracks! more
"The Best Director Ever." (W.A.) more
The most beautiful collection from the Swedes, masters of doom metal. It includes the most important tracks from the first four masterpieces, along with some excerpts from the live show in Stockholm in 1990. There are also a few songs from the less thrilling Chapter VI, with those annoying little keyboards ruining the dark and rhythmic magic of the music. Essential for anyone looking to quickly educate themselves about the golden years of the band. more
Born as the logical continuation of Blitz, this record is the second (and last) that marks Eugenio's collaboration with Crisalide. "15 bambini" "Legalizzatela" "Zerbo" continue to significantly reflect the social/political thoughts of the singer-songwriter. Above all stands out "La canzone dell'acqua," a gentle acoustic reflection on the possibility of a personal existential change. more
It stands out from the crap that gets spewed every year by the various talents. Well done! more

Genius of Comedy more
An American comedy genius. He became popular thanks to "Seinfeld," of which he was a co-creator, but it is with "Curb Your Enthusiasm" that, in my opinion, he reached the peak of his creativity. more
Pleasant album, but from artists of the caliber of Joe Satriani, Sammy Hagar, Chad Smith, and Michael Anthony, one would expect better. more
I have always liked him as a character; I've always seen him as genuine. The fact that he often took uncomfortable and fairly unorthodox political positions (at least relative to his world) is noteworthy, regardless of whether I agreed with them or not. As a songwriter, I have always found him somewhat sentimental, although he has undoubtedly produced some beautiful songs – no doubt about that. more
"If there is someone who owes everything to Bach, it is truly God." (Emil Cioran)
