The quintessential Folk Rock. Essential for anyone wanting to get an idea of what American Music is all about. And then watching Levon Helm sing while playing the drums was a spectacle. more
An album with a peculiar gestation that, for various reasons, might never have seen the light of day. Initially released only in the USA with the collaboration of excellent musicians including Jeff Beck, Ronnie Wood, and Rod Stewart, the result is an extravagant album with a unique brightness, where the listener, right from the first track, 'Barabajagal', is immersed in an allegorical and visionary dimension, perhaps more acidic than in any of the Scottish songwriter's other productions. 'Atlantis' is one of the most beautiful songs of those years. more
He would even smoke the radiation from Chernobyl and say it's just polluted air. more
An animal on stage, a crazy junkie, a piece of shit off the scene, arrogant, dirty, cocky, transgressive, but damn, he still has an energy at 70 years old in live performances that's enviable ("Shine A Light" by Martin Scorsese will convince you of that). more
Bono Vox, kiss his shoes! more
The only problem with this fantastic band is Jonsi's fake eye... disturbing. more
In 37 minutes and 24 seconds, the Popol Vuh take you on a long journey of a spiritual nature, leaving you overwhelmed by this wonderful atmosphere. When the album ends, you return to true reality, and you need that journey once more. Hosianna Mantra manages to do all this without you even noticing it... MAJESTIC more

Poetry...nothing but poetry for my ears. Thank you Red House Painters. more
A dark comedy, a horror film, a nightmare. A girl, the spokesperson for a sexual abstinence group, actually possesses what mythology would call 'vagina dentata' (how can one not think of Dr. Adder by K. W. Jeter). Between symbolism and black humor, reflections on matters of an ethical and religious nature, a film that should be taken seriously only to a certain extent to avoid succumbing to panic and castration complexes. more
They succeed in a task that I believe is very challenging for an artist: giving dignity to pop. The first two albums are excellent, but the mediocre conclusion of the trilogy is a shame. more
For me, "Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven" is the best album ever in its genre, too much for everyone. more
The emotions conveyed at the first listen, the emotion, the happiness, the joy, the sadness: Neil Young is a master at transmitting these feelings, and this album is proof of it. Damn extraordinary this album, one of the best of all time... more
Little flower, where are you going... Why are you wandering the world? more
EP that precedes the release of the album 'Super'. It contains the single, 'The Pop Kids' (also available in two remixed versions) and two new tracks, 'In Bits' and 'One-Hit Wonder'. more
Record-breaking film in terms of box office for Irish cinema. Shot in the beautiful county of Galway, it’s a black comedy and a crime thriller featuring Brendan Gleeson as an Irish sergeant addicted to prostitutes and alcohol, and Don Cheadle as a meticulous and punctual FBI agent on the trail of an international cocaine trafficking gang. The characterization of the characters and the settings are well done. more
It’s rare for Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant to “miss” an album. Anticipated by the single, ‘The Pop Kids,’ ‘Super’ is yet another album from one of the bands that have remained truest to themselves over the years while also managing to innovate with the advancements in technology and the multi-level differentiation of the musical offerings in the market. Produced by Stuart Price, I can't find any flaws in this work, where all the songs are more or less on the same level (for now, I particularly prefer the opener, ‘Happiness’). more
It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's Superman playing basketball. more
