Luca e Paolo -Camera Cafè
Were you talking about me? more
Alfred Hitchcock
My favorite chubby. more
Area
I’ll just say two words: DEMETRIO STRATOS. more
CapaRezza
Frank Zappa meets B-Real from Cypress Hill. Intelligent lyrics, technically underrated, a continuously maturing musical journey, one of the few true artists today. "Il sogno eretico" and "Museica" are incredible albums. more
Genesis -Foxtrot
The best album by Genesis: between the solemnity of "Watcher Of The Skies", the captivating calm of "Time Table", the polyrhythm of "Get'em Out by Friday" with an astonishing vocal performance by Peter Gabriel (just listen to believe), the "charismatic" sweetness of "Can-Utility and the Coastliners", Mr. Steve Hackett gracing us common mortals with "Horizons", a breathtaking acoustic piece, and "Supper's Ready", their ultimate musical manifestation, 23 minutes that change the lives of those who listen. In just 50 minutes, Genesis produces their masterpiece and firmly establishes themselves among the greatest progressive bands of all time. more
Genesis -The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway
"The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway," or the wonderful yet dramatic and convoluted adventure of Rael, who finds himself unwillingly in the "hell" of Broadway, among bleeding lambs, trapped in an ever-tightening cage, and other surreal situations that make his tortuous journey an experience that can often happen to those who struggle to face the world. A TRUE MASTERPIECE OF THE GENESIS DISCOGRAPHY, although I still prefer the magical "Foxtrot" by a hair, it’s more appropriate to consider this as a separate album in the Genesis discography due to its uniquely developed and particular concepts. more
Coldplay
They sound a bit cold, sometimes soporific. more
Jonathan Kreisberg
The main protagonist of the contemporary jazz guitar scene. more
Karl Marx
A thinker, I have never fully shared his ideas, as he promoted the violent rebellion of the proletariat and his ideas entailed the abolition of private property (which, in my view, is an inalienable right of man). The problem is not him, nor his ideas, but those who have "sought" to follow his ideas, imposing "communist" regimes (which are certainly not communist!) and failing to realize the utopia so dreamt of by the German. Still, the 4 is appropriate, as he was one of the most important thinkers of the second half of the 19th century. more
Adolf Hitler
Evil incarnate, like Stalin! A bastard who killed Jews without a real reason. In my opinion (a bold theory), he was resentful of their wealth and probably unable to accept that perhaps in the past the Jewish culture of which he was a part had "rejected" him. He probably wanted to take revenge on a race of which he himself was a part. He remains, after all, a son of a bitch. more
Benito Mussolini
He remains a jerk, having been a dictator. Besides that, he was arrogant, haughty, unable to carry out a decent military maneuver during World War II. If Rommel hadn't been there to help him, they would have lost all their North African colonies. However, I consider it immature to claim that Italy was better off after Mussolini's death... I mean... more
Stalin
When it comes to discussing a dictator, I try to approach the subject with neutrality, especially because I know little about politics (both due to my shameful ignorance and my lack of desire to educate myself). I care little whether a dictator is on the right or the left; it's all crap! Stalin is one of the most brutal dictators that the world has had the misfortune to endure. A totalitarian, a criminal, a son of a bitch on all fronts. more
Chris Martin
The pope Francis of music. more
MC5
MC5, Stooges, Blue Cheer—there's no way you were bored at a live show!!! Dynamite and kicks in the ass for the subjects!!! more
Jimmy Page
"I don't deal with technique but with emotions." "Here stands James Patrick Page, not the most skilled, but the greatest - Hendrix is out of the rankings, obviously - what he did with the Zepp is unique and unrepeatable. I won't go into detail, you can read my views on Led, but it's ridiculous to still hear people talking about copying when everyone has done it from the blues, and they 'evoke' the Spirit??!! For the three identical opening notes, when continuing one becomes the Masterpiece and the other a little song, it's absurd. I accept that some say Fripp is more technical, but when it comes to the history of Rock, I repeat, he has no equals." more
Elvis Presley
5 especially for "having fun with Elvis on stage" and the "greatest shit" (besides his most successful albums), I'm waiting for the detractors :) more
Mike Oldfield -Tubular Bells
When I discovered that there was this enormous vinyl at my grandparents' house, I was determined to put it on the turntable at all costs...too bad the turntable was broken, so I couldn't enjoy this immense masterpiece of Mike in its multiple 48 minutes once again. It's incredible how, at not yet 20 years old, with a base of just 3-4 notes (made famous thanks to the movie The Exorcist), he managed to create this immense suite! Referring to the debut, given that the debasio presents difficulties in collecting it. more
Caravan -Waterloo Lily
Another record by Caravan, in my view slightly "inferior" to "In The Land Of Grey And Pink," but not to the extent that it prevents me from giving it 5 stars. more
Ringo Starr
A drummer who has inspired almost all of his successors. He’s also a good cookie, but “oreo” can't be beaten. more
The Beatles -Let it be
It's not essential; I find it a bit overrated... it would be worth hearing the "naked" version, that is, the one that is truer to the group's original ideas considering Phil Spector's heavy hand. Nevertheless, it's a great album. more
