Just today, after a couple of weeks, I turned on the car stereo again, and there was Mob Rules on the third track, "The Sign Of The Southern Cross" for those who are less informed. Now you might say, how is that possible? You drove around in the car for weeks without music as background?? You must be crazy!!! Anyway, the album reminded me that I still hadn’t given a definition and a rating to the record... What can I say, it's inferior to its predecessor, but still superior to the myriad of metal albums that have been released in recent years!! more
Is it ever possible that every time I reach the end of the album, I end up in tears?! ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE! HOW MUCH I LOVE MAGMA! more
Great album, playful and fun. more
This album has an incredible melodic sophistication (at times it could even be defined as pop) that reflects Nick Cave of that period: it is no longer an album on the brink of the abyss like "Tender Prey," but rather the album that marks the achievement of a balance. more
Sixth magnificent album for Gentle Giant, who triumph once again with a concept album, this time with a grotesque and satirical portrayal of the questionable methods of a monarch. Wonderful... more
This is for me his best album. Nostalgic folk blues of incredible intensity. Dream Letter is one of the 5 most moving songs ever written.

When I listen to this album, I feel like I’m on the bank of a river/lake of stagnant water, surrounded by bamboo reeds, in a landscape where the predominant color is a dull yellow. It's amazing how music can be so evocative sometimes... What do you see in this album? (besides a masterpiece) more
Magnificent, musically simple, yet refined at the same time. The lyrics, well, speak for themselves. Beautiful...
"My brother is an only child
Because he is convinced that Chinaglia can't transfer to Frosinone
Because he is convinced that the secret to happiness does not lie in the bitter benedictine
Because he is convinced that even those who don’t read Freud can live for a hundred years" more
It doesn't drive me crazy, but it's charming. more

Yeah... I think I'm the only one who is attached to this album. I've always liked it, don't stone me for that! more
The sound of breaking glass capable of creating a rhythmic section at the beginning of the opener. After the first 20 seconds, the album already kicks off with a bang... Let's add the rest, and we'll have yet another masterpiece from Gentle Giant, their fifth in a row. THANK YOU AGAIN GENTLE GIANT. more
Legendary and mythical both in the studio and live... even though I might now be a bit in the vintage era, they are the only ones who still make me crank up the stereo volume, said by someone who has never been a convinced rock'n roll, rock, southern rock, hard rock, metal etc. enthusiast, but is closer to the less immediate sounds of blues and jazz, and who, since discovering them 40 years ago, still considers the L.S. the best in terms of rhythm and energy... (along with the beloved Little Feat) more
Bjork drives me insane in an incredible way, not because of her, but because of her fans who consider her the best singer ever (which she isn't, despite her undeniable technical talent). The vocalizations are grand, the music, at least, is decent, not exceptional, with some interesting ideas. I would say she deserves the 4 balls. Well done Björk, I would have given you 1 ball for each album, but after all, mutatis mutandis, opinions change :) more

The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me is an enormous album. more
Two gigantic albums (Funeral and Neon Bible). A lot of wasted potential in the last two; still, I don’t understand all this hate. more
"If I don't let myself be happy now, then when?" more
A loser like me can only love them. more
