A great singer-songwriter, a renovator of genres that there will be few of. Piazza Grande, 4 marzo 43, Anna e Marco, L'anno che verrà...and I’ve only mentioned the most famous ones. It’s a shame about the last period being a bit "banal," so to speak. But he really left us so much. more
Best page to retreat to every time I read some bullshit about them. more

the story of the Sabbath comes to a fitting close...great live, great God more

"Performance is not an illusory copy of reality, nor is it its imitation. It is not a series of conventions accepted like a role-playing game, performed in a separate theatrical reality. The actor does not act, does not imitate, or pretend. He is himself." more

For as little as I appreciate and know about rap, Eminem definitely has something to say. It's a whole other thing compared to certain idiot wannabes from Italy or England. more
A bit strange as characters, but the blues rock is solely and exclusively theirs. True "gentlemen," except for Knopfler's criminal face. more
Who is Vasco Rossi? An old, disheveled mental case, high as a kite, without a voice, doesn’t play anything and coughs into the microphone. A few fantastic songs ("Vita spericolata," "Stammi vicino," and "Sally") compared to a production that borrows heavily from any rock singer-songwriter, from Ruggeri to Finardi. more
The voice, if it comes to that, doesn't drive me crazy either, and for what it thinks and says, it should be eliminated. But it has made certain songs that sometimes I get a crazy urge to listen to. more
A dignified artist, the soul of a blues that is at times very commercial and often plagiarized, but overall I respect him and listen to him much more willingly, at least during his golden period, than the various Ramazzotti & company. more
Bleach is extraordinary, Nevermind feels massively overrated to me. As for the rest, I think they are one of the most inflated, commercial, and unbearable bands in history. more
It's not their fault that "Another One Bites the Dust" is in the Dacia Duster commercial. Freddie is a rock legend, Brian May has a unique touch, and Roger and John, despite giving a hard time to technicalities, have their own skills that can only belong to them for Queen's songs. Queen have been, are, and will always be. more
Great singer-songwriter, a bit of a ragtag musician but definitely a performer of excellent caliber. Dieci ragazze or Balla Linda I think will enter history for their ugliness, and I don't understand what importance to give them considering 29 settembre, Acqua azzurra Acqua chiara, Mi ritorni in mente, or Emozioni. Overall, an excellent pop alchemist, inappropriate to compare him with De Andrè, Dalla, or Fossati. more
Poet, storyteller, unusual and creative musician, surrounded by equally talented instrumentalists, light-years ahead of Dylan (to whom I still gave a 5) or Cohen (another poet with pen and guitar)..."Just try to have a world in your heart and you can't express it with words, and the daylight divides the square between a village that laughs and you, the fool, who passes by, and even the night doesn't leave you alone: the others dream of themselves and you dream of them"... more
All the anti-sorcerers say he would have ideally died in 1986, when L'ormonauta is one of the most beautiful songs {o venute mèjjo, as he would say} of the 0s, just so. more
low-level Brian Adams-style rokkettino more
The classic pseudo-proletarian. Listening to what is supposed to be, or at least defined as, his best album, I personally found nothing particularly 'special,' except for a decent production aimed at making bearable an annoying little voice that sings trivial lyrics written specifically for the big concert on May 1st. more
A good reviewer whose excessive passion for the Beatles and Bowie tends to make him forget, all too often, that there have also been other bands that, although a bit less famous, deserved at least a mention. more
