Lucio Battisti

Great singer-songwriter, a bit of a ragtag musician but definitely a performer of excellent caliber. Dieci ragazze or Balla Linda I think will enter history for their ugliness, and I don't understand what importance to give them considering 29 settembre, Acqua azzurra Acqua chiara, Mi ritorni in mente, or Emozioni. Overall, an excellent pop alchemist, inappropriate to compare him with De Andrè, Dalla, or Fossati.

Lucio Battisti (1943–1998) was an Italian singer-songwriter and composer, celebrated for his collaborations first with lyricist Mogol and later with Pasquale Panella. His career spans 1960s pop classics to later experimental, electronic 'white' albums.
