Good but also Clever 4.5 more
"A Saucerful of Secrets" is the pinnacle among the peaks, but from "The Piper at the Gates of Dawn" to "The Wall," they have (almost) never missed a beat, truly immense! more
A voice that warms the winter and makes the summer airy. Words capable of rendering music almost superfluous, music that, at times, rises to the point of suffocating the words. A UNIQUE example of an honest career, engaged, learned just enough, that has been an impressive crescendo until its premature end. Anyone in Italy who picks up a classical guitar and sings must measure themselves against it. And they cannot win. more
Misunderstood genius. more
It's not just guitar playing; it's magic. Duane Allman didn't write the songs, but the fact is that in every piece he found the notes to play... not others, just those. But it's not fair to stop at Duane: even Gregg, with his voice and keyboards, made a good contribution. Same goes for Betts... not to mention the idea of having two drummers! more
The hidden poet of the Clash. more
Good job, but Emerson overshadowed him and doubled him, not to mention the German electronic masters who obliterated him. more
"I'll sell my soul... perhaps this is a dream, perhaps a sea where one can get lost to rediscover the wings of the sky, wings of the sky!" more
Monumentally up to "A Night At The Opera," great up to "Live Killers," the rest is just a tip... Innuendo, moving, wonderful final epitaph. more
The door opener par excellence. Hey! Bo (Diddley), bring us back that damn doorknob, because here come the dogs and pigs. more
The seed. more
"The Devo argued that the Rolling Stones had copied their hit, Satisfaction, because the world was upside down." @OMELETTE: I didn't know this, BRILLIANT!! more
Avant-mongoloidi more
An asshole who enjoys producing tasteless nonsense. The fact is that he does it remarkably well: a genius! more
Send me your money. more
I just want my damn Pepsi. more

"Average" drummer with a style, if nothing else, very personal and characteristic. The kind of "few ideas, but good ones." As a singer-songwriter, let's not go there, so as not to disrespect the legend that he rightly carries with him. Nice, cheerful, and blah blah blah, but this doesn’t count for much in the history of rock. Being the drummer who played, among others, on Abbey Road (and played it great) counts for a lot more. BIG RINGO! more
The best post-Faith No More project with good old Patton. more
