A seminal artist. (The collaboration with Zappa in "Bongo Fury" is also exceptional.) more

His rough and terrifying voice is, for me, one of the most beautiful of all time. Excellent in the '70s ("Small Change" and "Blue Valentine" the undisputed masterpieces of the era), gigantic in the '80s, exceptional in both the '90s and the '00s. Even today, in 2011, he has delivered yet another great album. Chapeau. more
