Ringo Starr
"Average" drummer with a style, if nothing else, very personal and characteristic. The kind of "few ideas, but good ones." As a singer-songwriter, let's not go there, so as not to disrespect the legend that he rightly carries with him. Nice, cheerful, and blah blah blah, but this doesn’t count for much in the history of rock. Being the drummer who played, among others, on Abbey Road (and played it great) counts for a lot more. BIG RINGO! more

Well, guys, let's not exaggerate! He has made a lot of terrible movies in recent years, but "Platoon" is a masterpiece, and "JFK" and "Born on the Fourth of July" aren't too bad. more

There is GENIUS in this big cocksucker's head! Constantly seeking scandal among the masses (Alexander and The Doors teach us) - but films like: Alexander (2004), The Doors, Platoon (1986), Wall Street (1987), Talk Radio (1988), Born on the Fourth of July (1989), The Doors (1991), JFK - A Case Still Open (JFK) (1991), Natural Born Killers (1994), The Intrigues of Power (Nixon) (1995), Any Given Sunday (1999), Between Heaven and Earth, are unforgettable. more

wonderful rock genius, with the flute he was three spans above anyone else, he brought this instrument to the forefront of rock with the Tulls, giving life to memorable solos and albums that are timeless masterpieces. Exceptional, one of the greatest front-men of all time, much more than just a simple rock minstrel. more
Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
"Safe as Milk" is one of the most beautiful albums of the '60s and probably not just that. An artist who has been greatly re-evaluated, and even though I still don’t quite love an album as objectively brilliant as "Trout Mask Replica," I think albums like Safe and "Mirror Man" are enough to elevate him to myth status. A seminal artist. (The collaboration with Zappa in "Bongo Fury" is also exceptional.) more
Lucio Battisti
I respect him very much for what he has given to Italian pop music, but I just can’t seem to make myself like him—at least not very much. A 3.5 that turns into a 4 for the historical importance that the artist in question has had in the history of Italian music, and anyway, Il mio canto libero and Anima latina are two masterpieces. more
