David's psychedelic journey inside the monolith, Sellers' interpretation in Dr. Strangelove, the assault on the anthill in Paths of Glory, the candlelit frescoes in Barry Lyndon, the schizophrenia of Jack "Nicholson" Torrance in The Shining, the superviolence set to the tunes of "good old Ludwig van" in A Clockwork Orange... what can one say that wouldn’t be a euphemism? Unattainable, inimitable! more
