Come on, saying "The one from Whole Lotta Love, the theme of Top of the Pops" is simply a way to help the less knowledgeable understand what "Whole Lotta Love" is. I don't want to defend it to the death; I'm not even a fanatic, but for me, even though it's nothing special, it has managed to create a distinctive style, which has been widely imitated (by worse acts, but still imitated). And then, oh, he wrote some of those little riffs during the new wave era too. I'm fine with it. more
