I can't be objective about them, as they are my favorites. Objectively, they're a group without pretensions, not very innovative, but throughout their career, they have had the merit of experimenting with different sounds, unlike others.

My objective rating would be a 4, averaging the 4.5 that Polythene deserves, the 5 that YWTS deserves, the 3.5 of Echo Park, the 5 of CIS and PTS, the 3 of Silent Cry, and the 4 of Renegades. But I grew up with them, and I can only give them a 5. more

5 even just for "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," for me it's his peak and one of the best films of the last 10 years. Beautiful, just slightly below Eternal Sunshine, L'arte del sogno, and very valid, although a notch or two below the two aforementioned films, Be Kind Rewind. Truly a great director. more
