How much bullshit I read: the most influential band in rock, pioneers of punk, hard rock, psychedelia... and nothing more?!! I quote a definition already given: THE INVOLUTION. more
Anyway, I prefer them to Durin Duran. more
distilled shit in its purest form, their latest single gives me an ulcer. more
but was he needed instead? more
the featuring with CapraLezza: was it really necessary? more
This craving for revisionism that has spread across the web makes me sick. Lately, there's a trend to rehabilitate truly obscene bands and to bash others that have made history and set standards. Come on, let's rehabilitate the 883 and the Righeira too. The fact that they put together a couple of good pop melodies doesn't make them a credible band. Starblazer is right: for the era in which they released their albums, they were comparable to a Lady Gaga or a Katy Perry today, quality-wise. more
Come on Starbly, don’t exaggerate yourself ;) more
I would say that overall they and Duran Duran are definitely not better than Lady Gaga and Katy Perry; in fact, they are even less entertaining... more
high-class synthpop band...... more
May the sparkling walls of ignorance come crashing down upon you! more
Big, oh sure... but reading many definitions, it seems that only they have existed. As far as I'm concerned, there are about 30-40 bands at their level and about twenty that piss on them. In the end, however, my score is 5. more
The legend says that once someone saw him laugh. I want to believe it. more
Phallus Dei is worth entire discographies, no doubt about it... more
Taken one by one, they are really terrible, together a little better... more
Overrated. They haven't invented anything and they've plagiarized even more than Zucchero... more
To me, they were and remain a great band. more
elegant interpreter of pop for refined tastes. more
Judging by the definitions, the most overrated group of debaser. more
Great, I mean, really Great in the sense of Big, a beast in short. The only one who has never taken a beating on the head from Bonzo. 50% of the success achieved by Led Zeppelin is thanks to him. The remaining 50% falls under the definition of "unpaid royalties." more
