This craving for revisionism that has spread across the web makes me sick. Lately, there's a trend to rehabilitate truly obscene bands and to bash others that have made history and set standards. Come on, let's rehabilitate the 883 and the Righeira too. The fact that they put together a couple of good pop melodies doesn't make them a credible band. Starblazer is right: for the era in which they released their albums, they were comparable to a Lady Gaga or a Katy Perry today, quality-wise.

Spandau Ballet are a British new wave/New Romantic band formed in London in 1979. The classic lineup features Tony Hadley, Gary Kemp, Martin Kemp, Steve Norman, and John Keeble.
