Excellent director. Technically outstanding, an absolute master of the Action Movie and Police genre, skilled at blending action scenes with more intimate moments and psychological depth of the characters. At least two huge films, ManHunter and Heat, plus a handful of really good films (Insider, Collateral, Enemy of the State, The Last of the Mohicans, Violent Streets). An absolute guarantee of quality.
