A CD I’m very fond of since it was a cassette, a greatest hits with outstanding tracks like Cambodia, Here’s to you, and Gracias a la vida, I would say swearing that it’s the American Mina. more
folk, notice a beautiful goldfinch more
The lyrics and music go hand in hand. A nice way to close a beautiful album. more
Great. I don't even know why myself. more
The text doesn't seem to be written by Lucio (in fact, it's not his). The only merit is the excellent arrangement. more
We've reached the worst part. I'll round it up to three stars, just because I'm nice. more
Once again, we find a text that brings us back to the best of Dalla. The arrangement is top-notch. more
The text takes us back to the golden times of Dalla. A little tear. more
I really don't understand why it is so heavily criticized. I find it a beautiful song, intense at times. more
Like the previous one, the topic is better explored in other songs not just by Dalla. However, the music is beautiful and the lyrics work. more
Topic better addressed elsewhere, nonetheless fascinating. more
Really beautiful. A bit commercial, to be fair, but it's okay. more
Modest beginning. Beautiful text. more
3.5/4 up to "Happy Birthday Elvis," a flat zero afterwards. So, averaging... more
Overall, a good album, although it is still far from his masterpieces. Aside from "Attenti al lupo" (which, for being a simple pop song, isn't bad at all), there are excellent tracks, including "2009 (Le cicale e le stelle)," "Apriti cuore," "Bella," "Comunista," but especially "Le rondini," which absolutely deserves to be among his best works. 3.5 more
Despite the first four great tracks, the rest of the album didn't fully satisfy me. Ballando ballando sounds like it was written by Max Pezzali, and that's all there is to it. more
A gentleman's concept. The traffic jam drives me crazy, it's stuff from another planet. And then Nuvolari, The engine of 2000, The interview with the lawyer... too much. more
After days of listening, I can say this: the lyrics are beautiful, the music too, so it can't get any better than this. more
Compared to other previous and subsequent ones, at least here it seems that Lucio has something to say. more
My twenties, the concerts and the hippie philosophy, all brothers shouting "cambio due canne d'erba per una di nero" at the Bob Marley concert in Turin. more
