There was a time when the quintessential prog voice in the world was Francesco Di Giacomo. more
"Nomadic Song for a Political Prisoner," a suite-hymn to freedom of thought. Unattainable. more
Posthumous album that encompasses little gems re-sung by Enzo, who wasn’t on his feet but still did a great job. "Il tassì," "Un amore da 50 lire," "Maria me porten via," and others. Moving. more
A true artist is one who decides to stop when they have nothing left to say. What the world lacks are artists like that. more
Authentic geniuses and exquisite musicians. "Fossi figo" with Morandi, "Gimmi l." (Gimmi the pedophile, but the pedophile was the last name, sung by Tina Turner's ex), "Litfiba tornate insieme" and "La follia della donna" are little milestones. more

A wonderful and sparse masterpiece. Just Bene would be enough to make it a wonderful album, then there's the fact that there are also other masterpieces and very few drops (actually, only Arlecchino is a bit below par).
P.S: Am I the only one who thinks of the scene from Ecce bombo where they wait for dawn every time I listen to Finestre di dolore? more
