Mike Oldfield -Amarok
I love when an artist decides to do whatever they feel like; in 2-3 moments of the work, the meaning of life is explained. 9 more
Stanley Kubrick -Full metal jacket
One of the greatest filmmakers of all time delivers one of the top 5 war films ever made. Grotesque and bitter, the first segment is truly genius, while the second, set in Vietnam, is more conventional but still hits like a punch to the gut, due to its realism and brutality. The futility of war and what it transforms simple boys into. An immense masterpiece. more
Rob Zombie -La casa del diavolo
Even better than the previous one. Here Zombi gives us a beautiful film. The idea of role reversal is great, the opening scene is lovely, and the finale with the trio of psychopaths riddled with bullets by the police set to the solo of "Free Bird" is spectacular. It’s practically a beautiful road movie with horror shades. Very nice, it’s a pity that Zombi seems to have already run out of steam. more

Wes Craven -A Nightmare On Elm Street
Freddie Krueger. An exceptional classic of horror, among the best of Craven.

Sergio Leone -Per Qualche Dollaro In Più
The best of the Dollar Trilogy. Leone crafts a masterpiece western, with Volontè delivering a wonderful character in his wickedness. The Eastwood-Van Cleef duo is also stunning. The ending is magnificent, the music is immense (Morricone...). A masterpiece. more
