Someone who has transformed, at their convenience, improvisation (not intended as musical improvisation) and the lack of a specific gift into a brand (for the masses, declaring to have attended one of their concerts is like claiming to be in the know), all while pulling out some fitting lyrics and collaborating with the right people. Obviously, they are not a zero in the "artist" category, but neither are they a true artist. A circus in the form of a man that has been functioning for over 30 years. If for Christmas you gift someone (someone who doesn’t know Benessum by Andrea Mingardi, basically almost everyone) a CD of theirs, in 99% of the cases you’ve hit the mark. more
