Great in Mystic River and Million Dollar Baby. The rest is definitely less suited to my tastes. Gran Torino could have been a good film if it weren't for the disgustingly sentimental ending. As for the rest, I find him to be a really irritating character with some embarrassingly awkward attitudes. 3 for the good work with Leone and for those two films. more
Very unfortunate, but by far better than 80% of pop singers who came out in the late '80s and '90s. She has an exceptional voice. more

A triple to encapsulate the live activity of one of the greatest living live performers. 225 minutes (almost four hours) of indulgence. more
Quite good. Nice voice, a repertoire that is anything but trivial, a more modest technique, good arrangements, and simple songs that have a great impact. A classic example that you don't necessarily need millions of notes and constant rhythmic changes to make songs interesting. more
Notable, skilled musicians and weavers of narratives, capable of conveying emotions like only a few groups can do. more
Sparks at the intersection of pub-rock and punk hysteria. Essential at least as much as "Stupidity" by Dr. Feelgood (also from Canvey Island - not by chance). The three minutes of "Teenage Depression" are very close to All Through The City by Wilko Johnson (same attitude, same vehemence - and the same taut drumming). And a mandatory mention for a "The Kids Are Alright" in one of its best reissues. more

Shit on the vocals, vomit on the guitar, piss on the bass, and a rotting corpse on the drums. Trash records and fans who crawled out of the sewers, thankfully extinct. There are still a few human cases listening to them, but I assume it's just for a laugh and messing around. more
Tracks tailor-made for single guys from another era, dressed to the nines for a chance at the nightclub, in full seduction mode, and in the worst-case scenario, for all the nearby pickup spots... a whore always goes home with something. The Caliph has taught these people a lot, the rest should refrain. more
He definitely didn't make the music I listen to, but that doesn't change (for a non-childish definition) the fact that for the 3-4 years leading up to '80, he represented an important note in Italian light music, and his certainly unappealing image helped him not a little (the strange things about us Italians). The style was very personal, and I can understand that it could appeal to a certain market, where many like him and worse than him were around. However, my personal rating is 1. more

Total flop. In the last 10 years, I haven't seen many films worse than this. Awful. more
4 silly little songs without meaning, and they say that even my nephew who is in kindergarten could write them, so he is a poet too. I come too? No, you won't. What the hell are you feeling? Shame on you!!!!!! Because then you offend Califano who wrote songs that this cheesehead could only dream of. more
