Marina and The Diamonds
Beautiful voice and some remarkable tracks ("I'm Not a Robot", "Hollywood", "Mowgli's Road"). It's a shame about the last, disappointing album. more
Peter Cincotti
A good and honest pianist with a really beautiful voice. more
Gavin DeGraw
Pleasantly crafted piano-pop. more
Katy Perry
The first album isn't even bad, while the second is liquid shit. The rating goes to her (outrageous) hotness. more
Area -Crac!
Just slightly inferior to the debut, but a masterpiece nonetheless. The pieces here are more improvisational in nature, and this is evidenced by the predominance of instrumental suites ("Nervi Scoperti", "Megalopoli"). However, the classics are "L'Elefante Bianco," "La Mela di Odessa (1920)," and "Gioia e Rivoluzione." more
Coldplay
Talented kids, just the right amount of slickness, forgettable marks in the universal history of rock but not in the recent one because they have style to spare and some pretty noteworthy ideas. Viva la Vida, a spectacular album. more
Death
They practically invented a genre, the sound of perseverance, one of the peaks of metal as a whole. The guitar influence of Chuck Schuldiner in metal is perhaps only second to that of Tony Iommi and James Hetfield. It's unfortunate for the earlier albums that aren't quite as great as those that would come, but their history has been one of continuous growth, culminating in fact with the sound of perseverance. more
James Taylor
I think Sweet Baby James is one of the best albums I've ever heard, the two that followed are great too, he has a wonderful voice that adds an extra touch to the songs, really talented! more
Jefferson Airplane
I love them!!!
So many great songs, great albums, the unique voices of Grace Slick and Martin Balin, Jorma Kaukonen, an extraordinary guitarist who is unfortunately too underrated. "Volunteers" for me is their highest peak with "Surrealistic Pillow" following closely behind, even though it’s really pointless to rank them since from 2nd to 4th they are all masterpieces. It's a shame about some transitional episodes after the golden period. more
Megadeth
Among the best representatives of 80s metal, from '86 to '92 only beautiful albums, Rust in Peace foremost, with Countdown to Extinction shaping their sound making it simpler and more accessible, and it works well, less so with Youthanasia and Cryptic Writings, then with Risk the decline, but after hitting rock bottom, changing genres, and going through 100 different line-ups, they gradually rise again with excellent albums, far from the past masterpieces but still very valid, Mustaine is a great!!!!!! more
ZZ Top
Great band, we need more like them!!! In the 70s, rock-blues was really tough; Tres Hombres is their best, but also Fandango and Tejas are right behind it. Then with Eliminator (their last masterpiece), it's true that they wink at the commercial side, using synthesizers and catchier choruses, and especially with the feeling that after Eliminator, it's all a bit of a self-plagiarism with recycled riffs that feel familiar. However, all of this does not detract from their merit of having 4/5 outstanding albums. GREAT ZZ!!!!!!!!! more
Fabrizio De André
The Poet of the soul, often described this way. When an artist like FDA is mentioned, one cannot help but place him among the greatest of the 20th century; to say that others are merely house painters or something similar is certainly not plausible, just as it is not fair to compare him to any other Artist. This is how it goes in Art in general. When one attempts to compare him to others, it diminishes their added value. No one like him has written and composed such works, and this does not mean he is the best. PERIOD. more
Area -Arbeit Macht Frei
A crazy and amazing political masterpiece, wonderful and seminal. The incredibly inspired lyrics, an exceptional cast of musicians, and the stratospheric voice of Demetrio give rise to perhaps the most beautiful album of the entire Italian scene of the time. "It's not my fault if your reality forces me to wage war on silence." more
Demilich
An overlooked techno death group with a very unique sound, you can legally download their entire discography from their website. more

Explosions In The Sky -The Earth Is Not A Cold Dead Place
A great job. Then the stagnation of this sound made me allergic to this band and others, all so similar to each other, but this one was still very valid. Chapa.. more
