I ask you to kindly explain how it would have been humanly possible to do more in the adaptation of The Lord of the Rings (aside from changing E. Wood, but whatever...), a book I know well. Seriously, it was impossible to produce a better film while positioning itself exactly between fidelity to the literary work and the rules of a blockbuster with the damn constraints. Please, let’s not play cool. It's one thing to say "the movies bore me," another to say "it's crap compared to the book"…
