Luca Dirisio
In 2006, he sang "Sparirò": and in fact... more
Paloma
"oh oh oh oh oh," he sang. more
Sly & The Family Stone -Dance to the Music
3.5. Their probably most cheerful and carefree album. Enjoyable, with some great tracks (title track, Higher, the Medley) but not always exceptional. I hold on to it because they later made albums that are truly, truly superior to this one. The rhythm section is terrifying nonetheless, with Graham on bass and Errico on drums. Uh. more
Joy Division -Unknown Pleasures
Time passes, but the opinion remains the same. A sepulchral, intimate, and introspective work. A journey into the psyche not only of Curtis but also of all of us. This, and I’m not joking, is my absolute favorite album. more
Jane's Addiction -Nothing's Shocking
hard rock, punk, psychedelia, funky, and above all, a certain sinister vibe. more
Candlemass -Epicus, Doomicus, Metallicus
....E per favore lasciami morire in solitudine... more
CCCP Fedeli Alla Linea -Socialismo E Barbarie
Here’s a pearl that the boot will never be able to forget or deny! Suggestive. more
Christian Death -Only Theatre Of Pain
Pain, physical and mental pain. Nausea and repulsion towards everything. more
Botch -We Are The Romans
I’m not very familiar with the genre in question... but "We Are The Romans" feels like the soundtrack to the fall of the Twin Towers. more
Bathory -Under The Sign Of The Black Mark
It’s thanks to DISCONI like this that today kids can scream and paint their faces in complete tranquility. Back in the day, however, the Bathory were considered outcasts. more
At The Gates -Slaughter of the Soul
Seismic shocks of pure adrenaline. A record to listen to all at once! more
Anathema -The Silent Enigma
When the darkness falls and despair suffocates you in the heart of the night. more
Anathema -Serenades
A 4.5. Great debut. more
Charlie Parker
Bird simply flew too high for anyone. more
Smashing Pumpkins -Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
Oh, melloncolli.. even though I've never been a "fan" of pumpkins, I've always considered Siamese Dream a great album. Its successor, this double one, I've always found too long and rambling. It could have been another excellent album, condensed into one, but Uncle Fester's ego is well known to be uncontainable. Anyway, 3.5. After this, there won't be another one... What a shame. Now just shoot me. more
La Dispute
Emotion and pure anger. more
The Waterboys
"Fisherman's Blues" should not be missing from any respectable music collection, a handful of fantastic songs and a seminal record. more
Caravan
I doubt there's a prog suite that can be digested as easily as "Nine Feet Underground." Just for that, it absolutely deserves the 5 stars. Finally, we must not overlook some excellent albums. Among the greatest English bands straddling the '60s and '70s. more
Bastille
But... is it them who have bored us with that cheap little single that goes "Teeerùn Terùn... Teeerrùn Terùn..."??? more
Steely Dan -Gaucho
And here they had become a bit bourgeois, but when the class lightning strikes (Gaucho, Third World Man) they remain irresistible. more
